I could see if this soldier was hitting on people, but I'd think that they'd be smart enough to not act like that. It's really unfortunate that they kicked out such a useful addition.

In circumstances like this, people seem to forget that there are also women in the military.
Perhaps rules should be reevaluated with this in mind.

light bulb - i was thinking the exact same thing - its not like just because its the army people won't hit on each other. this coming from my own experience.
nobody should be made to feel uncomfortable as the result of somebody else's advances - but god, i can think of a number of times that i felt uncomfortable on the recieving end of heterosexual advances. and nobody got booted out of the army for that...

You know what? I totally didn't think about that. With friends in every branch of the military, I've learned that military boys can turn into pretty big sluts... same for girls. I didn't even think about the whole hetero thing.
