BTW, I checked the size of my library. There are 140 employees in the main library alone. Some of them I don't even know who they are. Some of them I have never been introduced to nor talked to them. Some of them I know but hardly ever see, much less interact with.

The system in total must have about 600-700 employees.

Sex in the library is not tacky. It gives law students everywhere a reason to live.

LOLOL!

Last year, two people were caught having sex in one of the bathrooms of the History department. It was not me who caught them- but I was still cracking up about it.

No prob

I have been talking to the co-worker I am interested in when I run into him. I have also been dressing nicer than usual and paying more attention to my hair and making sure he sees me without my glasses.

He is very nice and sweet. I also found out today that he meets a MAJOR non-negotiable requirement. And he takes good care of himself- he was munching on carrot sticks yesterday. I'm vegetarian and a health nut, though my snack/dinner choice is more crackers with hummus.

This is the only place where I have let out that I have a crush on a co-worker. Possibly because this site is NOT accessible at my job- the filter blocked it due to its containing "chat" in the title. I have not even blogged about it.

I wonder if to ask the assistant who got married to one of the librarians earlier this year who asked who out first.

There are other reasons for my dressing nicer than usual- a few weeks ago, some higher-up complained about my wearing socks (I usually wear Mary Janes with socks unless it is too cold or rainy). But I hope that they do not start suspecting something is up. The gossippiest co-worker in the system is in my department.

For what it's worth, some guys really dig glasses. My old man is always going on about how I should wear mine more often -- and when I've mentioned that to other people, I've found that it's not uncommon.

Oh I love glasses on guys (as long as the glasses are not horrendously ugly per se). And this guy does wear glasses at times- and I like them on him even though they are not my preferred style of glasses.

He has seen me both with and without glasses.

The only people who should be wearing Mary Janes with socks are little girls. And their socks are white with little frilly lace around the tops.

I'll admit that I wore them through highschool with socks. But it was a Catholic high school, we had to wear dress/casual shoes, and the dress code spesfically stated that SOCKS MUST BE WORN WITH THE UNIFORM...NO NYLONS.
