Why oh why do little piss ant countrys like this try to act like they are big boys with their little demagods who think they are something special.

Without the help of China and Russia, any embargos will be worthless.

Without the backing of the G-8 countrys it will also be worthless.

It has to be a united front from all of the civilized countrys or not at all to work.

The US Military has been decimated by budget cuts and is already stretched to the limit as it is.

I have a Fraterity Brother who retired as a full bird Coln. and He said 5 years ago that North Korea will be a bigger problem than Iraq was.

How true his statement was.

Just nuke them. It's simple. We should have done the same to Iraq instead of giving them charity and helping rebuild their crap country.

As we should have done after 9/11, we need to take serious action. The only good option I see is to nuke New Jersey. That way, we accomplish three things. First, North Korea will avoid us, like you avoid that guy in prison hitting himself in the face. Second, the Jersey budget issue will be solved. Finally, and most importantly, Trenton, Newark and the Jersey Shore will be gone. It'll be like Christmas.

If we can transplant the Borgata poker room to somewhere else (Tunica? They could use the help...), but without taking ANY of the people, I'm down for this plan.

I am pretty pissed off with those fools in N.K. That was plain stoopid.

I dunno what to do... If you nuke the bastards, then everyone's pissed off with US. If you do nothing, then the Jong thinks he's the P.I.M.P. that he dresses himself as...

I have a BUNCH of evil things to say, but I would be a crazy mad woman if I said them...

Why in all things special do the Bush Admin want diplomacy on this looney tune...

In the immortal words of Prince from 1999, "Everybody's got a bomb/it'll go off on anyday... I don't wanna die/I'd rather dance my life away..."

I think Bush has it right regarding the need for multi lateral talks and pressure on North Korea. The problem with military action at this time would be trying to defend South Korea. Experts claim that their response would be most likely be to attack Seoul, and most also say without extensive involvement we could not protect our ally.
