There's another article out that adds Meg Cabot to the growing list. WTF?

I just read on Harvard's Crimson site that they are not going to republish the book, her entire contract is canceled, etc. Apparently, she also worked for a paper in NJ, and the paper is going to review her stories as well.

I feel sorry for her when she tries to find a job if/when she graduates from Harvard.

I don't - if she plagiarized to the point that it looks like she did, she dug her own grave on this one. You can't blatantly copy other people's work in the professional or academic world and expect to get away with it. If she did this on a test or paper, she would have been kicked out of Harvard.

She welcomed the media attention when there was good news about her book; she had to expect this attention when it was found she copied other people's work.

Especially not in today's digital age. I agree with everyone who has said the similiarities are too damning to be a coincidence.

Edited to add -- New allegations?

Now, the paper she used to intern on in New Jersey (The Bergen Record I believe) is going through stories she wrote to look for plagiarism.
