I ordered 2 items in October. I know the order went through because the $$$ left my bank account w/in 3 days. It is now April and I still haven't received my order! I emailed them twice asking about the status of my order and did not receive a response. I called several times and couldn't get through (said # was disconnected). Then, after FINALLY getting through, I spoke with someone in March who said my order would be shipped the next day and should arrive w/in a week....still waiting!!!!

Did you pay with your credit card/Debit? You might be able to get your money back but you'll have to go throught your credit card company/bank.

I HATE Something Greek! We use to use it a lot beause its the closest Greek store to our campus but now my chapter is officially boycotting it.
Every year they had made at least one mistake on our rush t-shirts. And we have let them slide b/c they were little mistakes and didn't really ruin the shirts but this year they were completely obnoxious. Here's the story:
We went about ordering shirts (admittedly) very late this year. So our rush chair called Greek stores specifically asking how soon they could have 24 shirts done. Something Greek asked her when we needed them by and they told us they could have them made by then (without even paying for them to be a rush order). So she tells them we want Hunter Green baby tees and how many we want in each size. They call her several days later and said we dont have hunter green baby tees or XS baby tees but we have 17 hunter green t-shirts in particular sizes. We are pissed b/c they waited so long to tell us but at this point we don't have any other options cuz it's the last minute so we're like fine.
We go to the store to pick up the shirts and it gets even worse. First, they made a mistake on the front design of the shirt and even more ridiculous, they completely forgot the design that was suppose to be on the back. We're now supremely pissed and instead of being apologetic he start's blaming us. "That's what happens when you order last minute, mistakes happen when you don't look at the proof, and everyone knows they don't make hunter green baby tees." They told us they could make the shirts by that date, they never sent us a proof (and the most egregious mistakes had nothing to do with proofing the design anyway), and if everyone but us knows they don't make hunter green baby tees or XS baby tees why did it take several days for them to inform us of that. They offered to print up the back of the shirts during the next half hour (if it takes them that long they really shouldn't be whinign about how much we rushed them). We said we would just take the shirts as they were and they adjusted the priced accordingly. We said we didn't think we would do business there again. And the workers response was good, we don't want your business.
Thanks to their bad service our IGC rejected a proposal to make them the official Greek Store for IGC shirts.
So please don't use Something Greek - they're rude and obnoxious!

i'd echo the above post about somethinggreek.com
A lot of the stuff i've purchased from them has been of terrible quality.
I recommend Joe Toga and GreekGiftsEtc. I've had good luck and good communication with both.
I tend to shy away from the TERRIBLY overprice greek101 and the like. There is so much mark up on their items, it's ridiculous, they're not even near reasonable prices.

My only gripe is that because I live in Canada, I not only have to page a huge amount in shipping, but if it doesn't fit through the mail slot in my door, I have to pay customs charges as well, which are usually close to, or more than, the amount to ship. So ordering flip flops which cost $18.99 US came out to around $40 Canadian after all was said and done=(

Joe Toga IS great. Their website is sketchier than it should be -- makes them look unreliable, I think.

Has anyone ever used designergreek.com? They look to have the cheapest stitched-letter stuff that I can find so I think I'm going to order from them.

Actually, I have a good friend who ordered a sweatshirt from designergreek.com when we were freshmen and she still wears it today. It's very cute and I don't think she had any troubles with them getting the order to her on time or anything.

Collegiate Connection (or Corner?) in Bowling Green (Ohio) is absolutely fabulous. I'm on a first name basis with the lady that works there, Judy. Letters get made and sent within a week or two and it's pretty cheap.

What annoys me about Greek101 is how they have a minimum quantity that you have to order of each item. I tried to get a gift from there for my friend who's in an NPC and I found myself saying, "I don't think she'd want 3 of the same picture frame/pillow/mug/etc..."

GreekGear.com is really expensive. I was getting a present for my friend, and something that cost $10 everywhere else cost $16 on their site.
