I am so upset that I missed ER tonight. Our moving truck was supposed to arrive today, but won't arrive until tomorrow. I've been completely out-of-touch with the world since Sunday.
What happened on ER tonight?
|
I hope you got moved okay. Long story short....it was this year's episode with the famous actor/patient. James Woods played a patient with end-stage ALS. It was by far one of the best ER has done. It had lfashbacks with how the cast of ER interacted with this patient over the years. There even was a mention about Dr. Greene's funeral.
I wish I could type more, but with a broken wrist....this typing stuff is hard.

Whoa - how did that happen?
Yes, practically the whole episode was based on James Wood's character's gradual degeneration due to ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).

Neela was at a conference of sorts where she was presenting. She called Ray and had him fax some stuff (that was in her locker) to her. Then at the end (of the episode) she tells him she's moving out.

Bad knees gave out at the hockey game, I fell and put my arm behind me to catch me. Obviously awhile ago. Now doing physical therapy for it and my knees. Thanks for asking.

|
If I remember correctly, one of Ray's patients last night "attempted" suicide in order not to go to his best friend's wedding the next day. Apparently, he was in love with the girl and was worried that he would not be able to NOT say anything.
As for Ray and Neela, it was obvious in the beginning how being roomates had grown into something more. I think Neela realized it while having drinks with the Debanco.
Correct me if I am wrong!

NO!!!!!!!!
I feel like such an idiot, crying because of Dr. Gallant. Poor Neela - her head is messed up enough. But maybe this is the way they're going to introduce her & Ray as an item?
Anyone else notice that Abby is starting to show - big time?

I hate to say I thought something totally different was going to happen tonight. Never saw this one coming. (Actually, I heard it first, while getting sick in the bathroom.) I had hoped I heard wrong, when I ran into to watch the TV (always runs behind the shower TV/radio). WOW! But I call next season's plot between Neela and Ray hooking up!
Why is is ER always makes the last episodes of the season so jaw-dropping? I can't even begin to imagine who is lost next week.
Off to mourn Gallant.
BTW. As upset as I was to hear Pratt's "outburst" about the child killing his father, war and everything (at first), since I thought it was a "statement"....I realized it was a realistic way to show the frustration felt by many medical workers in the ER to everyday situations they are dealt with. I know I have said those things myself.

Next week's finale will be horrific for me - the last military funeral I attended was for my daddy. So beautiful, so touching, so heartrending.

I only caught the very end, when Neela was watching Gallant's video to her. Made me cry
