Today is a day to remember and think about all veterans, but on this forum, I'd especially like to honor those who wear or have worn their uniform AND their Greek letters with great pride.
If you know the name, GLO and time-in-service of a Greek-affiliated soldier please feel free to list their info below so that we can all thank these men and women for their sacrifices.

U.S. Navy Veteran checking in here. (USS O'Callahan FF-1051 and USS Henry B. Wilson DDG-7)
I also know of several LXA brothers serving currently in the military - and members of other GLO's.
May God bless them all.

The user BlueNGold, who's an APO Brother from Kappa Psi chapter, served in Iraq last year.
Here's a thread about him from the APO forum, with some pictures.
ETA: Looks like the picture page is no longer working.

My mom called me on friday and said "I'm proud of you" and I was like "Um....what for?" and as soon as the words were out of my mouth I realized what she was talking about.
For the record, I was an IT3 (E-4) onboard the USS Rainier AOE-7 stationed out of Bremerton, WA from 1999-2003. Ship decommissioned 2 weeks after I separated and is now a part of the Military Sealift Command.
Went to Alpha Xi Delta's national convention over the summer and got to meet a fellow sister - Rear Admiral Mimi Drew. It was great....except for the fact that now in our chapter scrapbook there's a picture of me with her and my face is red from having been crying. Oh boy!
