He's just a general practitioner. I would see a gastroenterologist (sp?), but I simply cannot afford it. (I don't have health insurance because I have other fairly serious health problems that make me un-insurable.) But I'm wondering if his diagnosis was correct, or if there's something more I should do about it. I don't think the Librax will help, from your description of what it does...I just don't have the problems it's intended for. Not eating seems to help the most, but something tells me that's not a very good solution. I can't even eat without feeling like my insides are slithering through the space between my ribs, though.
I have felt worse the past couple days so I'm back on the no red meat/no dairy/no whole wheat/no high-fat foods/no alcohol diet.
