A sock!!! Actually it was Harry's sock. Which Harry had placed in the book he returned to Lucius, who then gave it to Dobby. The was snuck into Ginny's books by Lucius while they were shopping at Hogsmeade before classes.

What is Hagrid's dog's name? I know, it is an easy one. But I love the dog!

Hermione's robes were actually periwinkle in the book...

I'm drawing a little bit of a blank on Blaise Zambini... All I know is he's a Slytherin...

Hagrid's dog's name is Fang. Fluffy is his, but never really referred to as Hagrid's pet as Fang is.

Why was it safe for Hermione to ask her parents if they'd heard of Nicolas Flamel?

He's famous for having a beautiful witch mother that has been married 7 times & each husband has died a mysterious death leaving her w/oodles of money.

It's safe for Hermione to ask her parents b/c they're both dentists.

Put the trio in order of birth. Who's the eldest, the middle, & the youngest.

Hermione is actually the eldest. I got corrected on this on some other thread already.

Bertha went missing in Albania.

He is the director of a drill-making company called "Grunnings".

OK - research required:

What is the meaning behind Sirius Black's name?

Hint - it's not listed directly in any of her books, but it is on the net.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirius_Black

"As with many Rowling characters, Sirius's name reveals part of his nature. "Sirius Black" is a pun on the fact that Sirius can turn into a giant black dog; Sirius is the name of a star (the brightest one in the sky) which can be found in the constellation Canis Major (the big dog). The star Sirius was called "dog's star" by some ancient cultures such as the Egyptians. Most (but not all) of Sirius's family is likewise named after stars (Bellatrix is in the constellation of Orion; Regulus is in Leo. Andromeda is a constellation in the northern hemisphere, as is Draco)."

Andromeda Black, sister of Bellatrix and Narcissa and cousin of Sirius and Regulus, married muggle Ted Tonks. She was Nymphadora's mother.

Of what wood is Harry's wand made?

Extra Credit Question (since this is not specifically stated in the books but can be deduced from various facts that are in the books): Approximately, where are Hogwarts and Hogsmeade located?

I'm not completely positive that this is right but:

Holly and phoenix feather, 11 inches.

If that's wrong, someone correct me. I can't think of a question right now, so I'll stick with MysticCat's extra credit:

Where are Hogwarts and Hogsmeade located?
