one of my close friends pledged ZTA @ FSU as well. I know shes an awesome girl, and she had FANTASTIC things to say about the chapter. Glad to see both sides happy with their new homes/girls!

I agree!! The new release figures allow for a quota "range" going into pref and typically bid matching is run more than one time to see what maximizes the number of woman placed AND the number of groups achieving quota. Because for some reason everyone still focuses on "who made quota" when in reality on most campuses usually everyone but 1 or 2 groups make quota. If its two groups then one is usually way under and new release figures etc etc won't help them and the other groups is off by a few woman and catches up the next day or via snap bidding.

No, I don't know anything more. I haven't heard anything concrete except for ZTA and one other group that did not make quota through Formal.

I heard (from a LiveJournal note, not an official source!) that the Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter at FSU took 44 ladies during formal! They're very excited about these new members, and I have total faith that they'll find some more quality women during COR and Spring Rush. YAY! Go Kappa!

I was told today that Tri-Delta made quota plus 3.

I also found out that 11 of 15 groups made quota. Of the 4 that didn't reach quota, 1 group snapped to quota immediately.

I do not know any more details than that. I will not name the houses that didn't reach quota, even if I know them. This has always been my policy.
