I like AIM, though. If it had existed when I was in high school I would have been on it all the time.

The thing with AIM is you can seriously mask your attention level when you're talking to someone. You can be sitting there playing Madden, reading a book, whatever, and respond to the point where the other person thinks you're paying attention.
I feel like AIM is the way to communicate with someone that A) You're about to dump or B) You're just not that into.
