My mother & grandmother (on my father's side) went to the same school as I did and both were greek (as well as two Aunts that went to the same school.) None of them were the same sorority so I knew I wanted to go greek but I had four different sororities to decide upon. Guess what- I choose the one sorority that none of them belong to. Why - because that was the one that I felt I belong to and that is what counts. Then get this (please play some "X-File" type eerie music") I called my mom the day I got my bid and she told me that my grandmother on her side of her family was in the same sorority at Michigan State. She died a week before I was born so I never knew her. My mom sent me her pin, a ring and her song book. Now I feel I have an everlasting bond to a woman I never got to meet but something led me to belong to her sisterhood. So, I joined with my heart; and maybe a grandmother looking out for me too!

I joined because I felt at home with the fraternity. I wanted to be involved in something on campus, and being greek was the greatest thing I could have done to truely get involved. I eat, sleep, and live my fraternity.

I went Greek for many reasons. First when arriving at college I didn't know anyone. So some guys I met introduced me to their brothers. After hanging out at their house I met alot of the sororities and instantly realized the Greek life was for me. I love my sorority, Go Zetas!!!!!!
