You would rather wait and get an abortion instead of taking the morning after pill if I get ya, right?

With the morning after pill, you don't know for sure if you're pregnant -- that just seems like a bigger risk to me. If you're choosing to get an abortion, you KNOW you're pregnant.
And Rudey, if you got me pregnant, I wouldn't abort your babies. They'd be too much fun.

If I got you preggers, I'd make you do jumping jacks and get out of having to pay for anything in the near future.

When taken correctly, birthcontrol pills are nearly 100% effective. I personally dont trust birth control pills, BECAUSE they are so risky. God forbid you forget to take them at the same exact time every single day. Plus, one of my good friends got pregnant even while taking the pill the right way because of an antibiotic she had to go on because of a dog bite. Hello? If you take a medication that might affect your BC, you take backup precautions. Why is that SO HARD for people to comprehend?
I've been on Depo for 6 years and have never had a problem, and dont have to worry about "oops, I forgot to take my pill."

***Sigh***
1-Depo makes some people gain a lot of weight
2-Yes you should TRY to take your pill at the same time every day, but you won't go up in flames if you are a little be off.
3-Even smart people have had condoms break
4- Even smart people have bad luck
5- Why did you turn this fun, innocent thread into an abortion debate?
6-Your arguements are not very persuasive.
The End
I don't mean to be rude, but come on, this thread is not the place to debate abortion.
*****
to move this back on track
At my internship I learned how to help underprivlidege children do nothing and get paid for it.
I learned how to get up at 8am to play spider solitare in 30 below weather
I also learned that the best part of the real world is they serve free wine at events. (I was 21)
Oh and I learned that the worst idea if you are in wisconsin is a St-Paddy's day parade. I swear that it was at least -15 w/windchill and I had to stand outside for three or four hours trying to get drunk people in line....

Ahhhh...Vanity at it's best.
small price to pay IMO.
Anyway...I've learned that headphones are an essential when you're lowly co-op/intern who is forced to SHARE a cubicle with another person - one who consistently belches, coughs, snorts and grunts without saying excuse me on a daily basis.

It's not just vanity. It's also really unhealthy.

5-10 pounds is not going to kill anybody. My doctors have said anything more than 5-10 pounds is a result of too many big macs.

5-10 pounds may in the end may lead to death, how do you know that it won't? Also, pregnancy isn't a choice, you can make all of the proper precautions and still end up pregnant. Even when the pill is taken properly it still is only 99% effective. In my opinion you've completely derailed this thread.
Back on topic, I didn't have an internship, but rather I worked in the VP of Enrollment Management's office directly under him where I learned to make a mean cup of coffee. I also learned how to make lots of copies and wield a highlighter like no other. I also can assemble packets for the Board of Directors quickly and efficiently.

I am also a very efficient stapler. Luckily, I did not have to lick envelopes, which pleases me beyond belief.

People are talking about licking envelopes . . . why didn't you get a damp sponge or paper towel and a cup of water to keep the sponge damp so you can swipe the sticky part of the envelope?

you haven't lived until you've worked for the big university as a "student assistant." my record, sad as it sounds, was six hours straight of paper shredding...
I'm putting it on my resume as "assisted with privacy management in relation to official documents."

My internship was super fun. I taught the office how to use MS Visio. They couldn't figure out how I could make such lovely flowcharts in 10 minutes.
Maybe I shouldn't have shown them b/c they thought I was a genius :P
