I was featured on a medical talk show when I was 6 years old. I don't know if anyone who lived in the bay area in the 80s remembers when Dr. Dean Edell had his own show. They did a feature on diabetics.

Directed (for television) the world wide pool feed of a Papal Mass.

Quite a few other things, but that's the most memorable.

Been to five SuperBowls.

Then-President Clinton was one of the commencement speakers when I received my master's degree (1998). Security was insane. We had to take off our caps because the metal in the tassel was sufficient to trigger the metal detectors.

So, cool stuff I've done...

- Heard then-Pres. Clinton speak in person (see above)
- Performed at Lincoln Center
- Traveled all over the world

And other stuff...

I've also heard Hank Aaron speak at my brother's commencement from Bradley University.

And in 6th grade my parents bought raffle tickets at a school fundraiser and put my brother's name on one ticket and mine on the other. Guess who won $2500? My brother was PISSED hahaha.

But other than that, not much cool stuff happening here.
When you jumped, did you do it from that tall building in Aukland? When I was there they wouldn't shutup about it. I don't have the cajonas to do it anyway. I fell in love with the sail boats there instead.

He came to my high school my freshmen year and security was out of control. they shut down the school for the day before the event so we got out that day adn then we all went and watched him sign the education bill or something that he was doing so we got out of school that day as well. Yeah we weren't complaining.

If you count giving birth, I've done that three times. Other than that, nothing really cool comes to mind.

Politically, I've
-had my picture taken with 2 Presidents, one Vice-President.
-had my picture taken with 1 astronaut (Sen. John Glenn), met countless more senators & families (esp. Kennedys).
-Got to hear Sen. Byrd play his fiddle!
-Went out (once) with one former president's son.
-Made out in the East Room (not with the above).
-Was on the Presidential Advance Team.

Otherwise:
-Met Walter Cronkite.
-Lived in a building which was structurally damaged by the fall of the WTC, and have great photos from its deck of our deck & vice versa.
-Had Michael Keaton & Steve Martin's mothers as geriatric clients. Michael Keaton's mother was awesome! Her RN said, "You have such a wonderful son!" and she responded, "I have nine wonderful children!" Classy lady, she.
-Am mentioned in a somewhat well-known song.
-Was interviewed by the BBC on genealogy.
-Met Simon Wiesenthal.
-Unknowingly gave sexual "advice" to a former prostitute!

Seems like there's a lot more, but my list isn't here. Life is as fun as you make it.

I received a private tour of the Parliament building of Canada in Ottawa. In the Senate Chamber I got to sit in the throne chair that the queen sits in when she's here.

And I met Mike Tyson. It's kinda hard to shake someone's hand while covering your ears.
