The Fairmont in San Francisco The hotel is GORGEOUS and I wouldn't have to travel far. Orlando would be cool, I don't know there'd be cool things about almost any major city, so anywhere I haven't been before is cool with me.

I have to second that this would be a great place too... But I am slightly biased since that is where I got married...

hi, this is my first post here, but i've been reading for awhile now..

i am actually looking foward to our convention next summer, which will be in Washington D.C. on july 5th. D.C. is an awesome city (if confusing to drive in) and it should be really cool to celebrate the 4th of july in our nation's capitol!

Thank you! It seems a shame to me that we haven't done a Convention in Hawai'i yet seeing as how we have active collegiate and alumnae chapters there. A girl can dream!

I know, it has risk-mgmt nightmare written all over it. I'm over 21 so that wouldn't be a problem for me - but for all the collegiates . . .

Of course they do have OTHER things to do than gamble there (of course since I ususally just gamble I'm not sure what ) and the hotels have some great pools - which is where I've found most of the women want to be.

I've been to our last four - but alas can't go this time

IIRC, Alpha Phi held one of their more recent conventions in Puerto Rico. I have been there several times and it is very nice. I do have to say that when my company held its annual seminar there one year, it was the first time in 30+ years that representatives from all 15 states were present. Go figure!

What's the drinking age in Puerto Rico?

I'm still bummed about cruise line rules...

I want to say 21 because it is a US commonwealth but I could certainly be wrong.
