Yep...

Well I guess I would have to have friends in other houses - because many of them rushed me after becoming friends...

Although I know people in other houses, I would actually consider some guys to be "FRIENDS" in Sig Ep (some older ones), Delta Chi and SAE - maybe Kappa Sig....

I frankly consider the guys I know in other houses to be aquaintances...

Last semester my roommate was an AOPi, I am living with 4 Chi O's next year, my best friend is a Theta (at another college), friends of mine from HS went AGD, AOPi, Alpha Phi, and Theta and I have other friends in those same sororities, and Phi Mu, Delta Zeta, and Kappa Delta.

At my school (as someone else mentioned before) we don't have houses so it is easy to get to know many girls. Just from living in the dorms and joining other campus organizations I have gotten to know so many other girls.

I've always had friends in other houses, whether from high school or such. I always felt that it didn't matter what house you were in, as long as you were a good person it was best to bring the Greek scene together.

My best friend is a Phi Sig and I'm close to a certain KLP sister . From my school there was a point that I was friendly with a AEPhi sister that pledged the same semster I did and it was her that I turned to at times when I needed the break from SDT.

All of you that have posted are very lucky. I go to a small school in Pa and am very close with girls in other sororities. I hold 5 positions in my GLO and these girls give me an outlet. My sisters give me grief all the time for being friends with these girls saying I choose "them" over my own sisters. I am glad other people have a better experience with this then I am having. These girls are people I was friends with before I pledged we all just chose different GLO's. Its a crapy feeling knowing you hold 4 of the most important positions ( Recruitment Treasurer Panhel Exec board and New member educator) and your sisters judge you and wonder where your loyalty is. You should all feel lucky.

Also at my school we don't have houses we are the only sorority with a house.

On my campus all the sororities have friends from different orgs. I have good friends with PiPhi's and I also have friends in DZ and ChiO.

i think our panhellenic is very close, and it's cool, because i can think of at least five girls in every other house i would consider a friend.

the fraternity guys all seem to be pretty friendly too, but not quite as much as we are.

the past year it seems all four greek councils have become closer to eachother, it's really cool. all at the nudging of our greek life advisor.

As far as other sororities on my campus, I have a bunch of friends in Epsilon Kappa Tau. Over this passed year, our group and theirs have bonded and sometimes banned together. If I wasn't a proud Delta Kitten through and through, I would love to be an EKT.

My friend Becky is trying to refound Rho Kappa Delta (Arkady) on our campus, and I really give her credit. She's an AMAZING artist with this ridiculous work ethic and drive. I met her at the President's scholar dinner before I started at OC, and she and I sat together because we were the only two out of state people there (she's from Indiana). When we got to college, it was awesome that she remembered me and we immediately took to becoming friends. I really hope that Arkady gets its charter this year!

I wonder which KLP sister that would be.
I'm friends with a certain SDT, a Kappa, a Chi O, and am close with an AST on my campus whom I lived with this year.
