Has anyone ever tried a tequila called Q or one that begins with the letter Q? I tried it a while back before it was on the market. I thought it was good.

Had a few run-ins with Jose and others back in college. The following day generally consisted of others telling me the stories of what had done the previous night. We would do upside down margarita shots with it... some very fun and rough nights.

oh man, whoever though Jose Cuervo is good tequila is off their rocker. bleechhh!!!

I have to agree with valkyrie, Cazadores is very good tequila. so is El Patron. they go down smooth and dont give you hangovers.

my in-laws brought back this awesome bottle of tequila when they went to mexico in may. unfortunately, i forgot what it's called, but it went down sooooo smooth! another unfortunate thing, its not available here in the US.

Jose and I broke up sophomore year and we have never reconciled since. I havent forgiven him for making me spend the night before my first formal hugging the toilet.

Umm Jose's Reserva de la familia and Anejo are actually pretty good.

If I had to drink tequila, I'd probably go with the Reserve, a Porfidio, or Herradura.

ETA: http://www.alcoholreviews.com/SPIRIT...lapacult.shtml those are some reviews.

Both are quite good, in my opinion - I'm more of an anejo fan, but reposados can do the trick, depending on the mood.

As far as anejos go, Cuervo and Herradura are two solid ones, and Don Julio is probably the most widely-known, although I would tend toward the Cuervo. It's a little bigger, with more body, and while i'm not 100% sure I agree with the reviewer's comparison to MM, it does have some qualities comparable to good bourbon.

If you're feeling like something summer-y and refreshing, try a "truckers' marg" (or 'tx special'), with something like El Tesoro, chilled, and Squirt soda.

I've heard Cactus Jack is pretty good.

Just like Hawkeye is topnotch vodka.

Tequila and I do not get along one bit... Jose and Cabo Wabo have both made me sick the morning after, and I generally do *not* get sick from alcohol... I'm more of a sleeper when I've had too much. Tequila made the days after Cinqo de Mayo and Derby quite interesting and nothing I'm willing to repeat!

Ahh, tequila and I are good friends..yes in deedy

Once evening my boyfriend and I were eating out and decided it'd be safe to have a couple Tequila Sunrises with dinner (the bartender made them umm...strong). Ya know, being tipsy in Linens-N-Things is more fun than what you would expect....

I have always been a rather big tequila drinker.
Mr. Jose Cuervo has been a good friend of mine for several years now.
