Alpha chapter is now dormant at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. They abolished Greek Life there so our Alpha, Beta, & Gamma chapters are all gone.

Delta Delta Delta's Alpha chapter is at Boston University. It was closed for awhile, but recolonized in the 1980s.

Sigma Alpha Omega's Alpha chapter is at NC State, and still stands today.

Smile Tri Sigma

The Alpha Chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded at Longwood College in 1898 - It has never been inactive

Special shoutout to the other Farmville Four whose Alpha chapters are at Longwood: Kappa Delta, Zeta Tau Alpha, and Alpha Sigma Alpha.

Alpha...

Alpha chapter of TKE... Site of the founding of the Knights of Classic Lore society...

Illinois Wesleyan University - Bloomington, Illinois...

Beta and Gamma are close by (Decatur and Urbana-Champaign)...

Alpha, Beta, and Gamma form an important symbol to us on the geographical map of Illinois! Now that is awesome!

BGLOs:

Alpha Kappa Alpha - Howard University
Delta Sigma Theta - Howard University
Zeta Phi Beta - Howard University
Iota Phi Theta - Morgan State University

As you can see New York State is the one of the birthplaces of Greeks. That, and California.

That's what I thought my soror meant. But seeing how many are no longer active, there wouldn't be much to this thread.

Phi Delta Theta's Alpha chapter was at Indiana University until this past year. Their nationals pulled their charter for hazing incidents apparently

Phi Sig's Alpha chapter is at UMASS

Well, you're kinda right. Their Indiana Alpha chapter, at IU, has been closed. However, their first chapter, Ohio Alpha I guess, would be at Miami U.

The Alpha Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha was founded at Boston University. We use the term "Zeta," with a secret meaning, for the common term "Chapter." This sometimes does cause confusion that leads some people to use a designation like Alpha Zeta Chapter!

Interfraternally,

Mike Raymond,
Zeta-Upsilon Zeta
