I've paid up to $75 for a sweater... Of course, there was more embroiderery on it, but the average is around 50 bucks...

I have paid around 50$ for a sweatshirt with double letters stiched on it, t shirt is around 15-20$ on most websites, but as mentioned before there are always discounts for buying more.

I typically paid $15 for shirts from websites and from our local store, but I've seen them on eBay (brand new) for much cheaper.

Thank you everyone for your help.

I think what is going to happen is the chapter may do a batch order for beginning of year shirts, to get a good price for sewn letters.

Then with CA's help, I have realized I can use my regular machine, I just need to have the settings correct.

Basically, as a collegiate it would cost you less than $10 to make the shirt ($5 for the shirt and then like $1 for 1/2 yard of fabric that you could share with sisters) then it would cost at least $10 to get the sewing done, this is why we were figuring as alums we could cut costs on the sewing part.

As with anything, it's the whole change to sewn letters vs. what they were doing.
