I worked. Double holiday pay=new purse for Sharon The guys at work decided to have an X-Box tournament since we were the only ones at the station for the day. It was actually relaxing not having a million people running around.

baked, cooked, shopped, walked the dog, ate and hung out with the in-laws. Thankfully, they left around 6 pm, so we could veg the rest of the night.

Last night was the first night in I don't know how long we actually got to bed before midnight.

My family and I took the metro to Washington, DC to visit the WWII monument. My grandfather fought in Army Air Force, but was sent home when both of his older brothers were killed in combat. We paused at the Wisconsin pillar (where my grandfather is from) in rememberance of my grandfather and his brothers (my grandfather died three months before I was born).

I slept for most of the weekend. I had a friend of mine come in from Florida, then we went to play at a local casino. I came home reeking of smoke, so I took a shower afterward. Then we ordered and ate pizza. I played with my new laptop for a while before going to sleep and zonking out for the rest of the weekend.

Slept a lot and enjoyed the fact that my Husband and kids and I were actually at the same place together for once (he works and goes to school full time), then we laid a new patio - well started too anyway :-)
