Your not the only one that song was ughhhhhhhh whoa. But, I still like Some Cut the radio version.

Wait has a hot beat, interesting concept and I'm glad they didn't say "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" through out the song. As for the lyrics I can't hear them anyway because they are whispering.

But I like Trina, Jackie-0, and Luke. Oh well

Now THAT song made me blush. I had only heard the clean version on the radio and when I downloaded it (I spend my money wisely), I was .

The beat for "Wait" is good. But like everyone else I could barely understand what they were saying. I have heard worse.

Yes the beat is nice and the whispering concept is different, kinda cute. But, those lyrics ... ... Given that I listen to the whole song (beat & lyrics), I can't do this song. Also, most of the time my 5 year old is riding with me. I can't have him listening to stuff like that.

I don't know what the real version of the song is about. The edited version just sounds like it's saying "Wait til I give you this" over and over again.

Now, when "some cut" first came out, they accidentally played the real version and I was utterly disgusted.

I think it's very misleading to play such distorted versions on the air. A person might go buy the album not knowing that it is about such vulgar material. Yeah there's a parental sticker, but those are used for a number of reasons. I'd rather them not play that on the radio at all...edited or not. Some young people pay more attention than I do and probably know full well what the song is about. That's disturbing.

Soror, although it will be inconvenient, you can always take the cd back, even if you have already opened it. Just let them know that you didn't realize that the lyrics were different from the lyrics that you heard. I did that with the Outkast? cd after I turned it on and heard all that foul language and they took the cd right back. I told them why I was bringing it back and the fact that I could only know what I know after having opened it so they understood.

Funny story...When Big Pun first came out with the song that Joe was singing on, we loved it. I even turned it up with my mom in the car and she was jamming too. She said "I like that beat and he's turning down being a player...that's a good guy." So, we go and buy the album and pop it in when we get back to the car. As soon as the cussing started, my mama grabbed the tape, rolled down the window, and threw it out onto the expressway. I don't think my brother and I have laughed so hard in our lives. We really didn't know the lyrics were. My mother was VERY disappointed...LOL

LMAO!

I like "wait". At first I was by the lyrics. But like others have said, I've heard worse and I like the beat. It gets a lot of radio play down here. That reminds me..."Wait til you see my *&^%" should go in the "Worst Pick-up Lines" Thread.
