We just keep it real simple and refer to them as our Theta-Zeta #'s.

Hence "TZ"chopper

We used "zeta number" and could "pull zeta" to cut into lines for drinks (or, more importantly, the bathroom) if you had a lower number.

This was especially nice when a chapter advisor at a chapter that was in the 1300's for most current members (and a few high 1200's), and mine was 162 - plus being the High Pi, I always had head-of-the-line priviledges!

We referred to ourselves as "Sigma Omega" - no shortcuts or anything - although there was an "Alpha Alpha Shyoming" number that we also used to use from time to time, the origins of which I am reluctanct to disclose.....but was a fun number to get.

Tom, my undergrads SALIVATE when there is an alum older than me around that could pull/call zeta on me. They beg and plead for him to do so. I dont know why its such a big deal for them. I never call it in front of them or on them (who needs zeta when High Pi trumps it!)

When it does get called on me I of course, happily do whatever is asked, without bitching.

Sometimes "pulling Zeta" worked, and sometimes it didn't. For example, I was able to snag a single bedroom (vs. the doubles w/bunks in the two other bedrooms in our suite) for 2-1/2 years because of my initiation #.

On the other hand, I lost out on my favorite football jersey # because I didn't arrive on time for a chapter meeting (I was attending ANOTHER meeting on campus that ran late). One of the younger guys (who'd had the same # in HS) got it instead...just remember, RHIP (but not all the time).

In ZAX,
BF

Thanks bro, but please read the first page of the thread. I didnt ask for your designation and number. There is already a thread for that. This is different. I asked how you all refered to yourself in specific situations. Please reread and answer.

Thanks in advance. You'll be helping a new chapter.

We always use E M

Hence my EM1843.

We use Epsilon Mu only as a joke or when we are at a general fraternity function.
