Awww...that sucks. TMN is a speciality cable channel. It has to be order. I get it through Rogers, but I don't know if Rogers does cable out west.

I have been on greek chat for a while and just happened upon this site. And have a few things to say.

I love stargate, SG1 is super cool and atlantis rocks. Dr. Weir is super cool, and the major guy is such a hottie !!!.

Also, i love BattleStar Galactica. Starbuck ROCKS. She is super cool and i have to say that she is now on the top of my super cool women character list. Sam Carter and Dr. Weir are on the list also, but I love starbuck. I was really hesitant to watch the new Battlestar Galactica, but i watched it and OH MY GOSH is it the most exciting thing ever. My roommate have a bet going on who can figure out who the other cylons are. I wont share and ruin anything for anyone.

Anyway, as far as SG1 goes i deep down inside hope that Pete (sams boyfriend) is evil. I think that sam and oneil belong together and if the series ends and those two are not together then bad show.

Nice to meet some fellow greeks so are big scifi friday night "freeks" like i am ( and darn proud to be as well).

Take care,
debbie

I, too, am a Sci-fi freak! I love SG-1 and am soooo hooked on Battlestar Galactica.

Seriously, the highlight of my Friday is SG-1 and BG. I haven't really gotten into SG-Atlantis but I didnt really start watching SG-1 until it was in re-runs.

So, how much do i love SG1. I have to say that i loved the ending to the show on friday. I don't want to spoil it, but i, and others, have been waiting for this to happen for years. I know i need a life. But i think that the excitment just gets better and better. I am just really really glad, and i am sure that many will agree, that the ending was the best ending and i really look forward to that story line being developed.
debbie

oh and atlantis is good too.

I loved Friday's episode. My husband and I were out of town, so we Tivo'd it, and watched it last night. I will just say I'm glad we Tivo'd it so we could review some key scenes.

So I've been watching too much Stargate... I'm a regular at Torah study at my synagogue. For the past year or so, we've set the Torah aside to start reading other books of the Bible. We've spent a lot of time recently on I and II Kings. Baal comes up a lot (and we know Baal...) The other day, someone in the group brought in an article from an archaeology journal about Asherah. It begins: "Asherah is arguably the most important goddess in the Canaanite pantheon." I skimmed the first couple of paragraphs, and my first thought was: "What would they do with Asherah on SG-1? They'd have to make her a pretty major Goa'uld, probably a System Lord..." Yeah, I've been watching too much Stargate.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Stargate SG-1! As a matter of fact, I have it on TV *right now*!! I don't always get to pick up the episodes of SG:Atlantis; but when I do, I enjoy them.

Being that I work for Creation Entertainment, a company which puts on scifi events, I actually get to meet these folks as well. I just returned last night after a weekend working backstage at the Grand Slam in Pasadena. We had Michael Shanks (Daniel), Christopher Judge (Teal'c) and Peter Williams (Apophis). (I met Amanda Tapping at last year's show as well). Anyway, during last night's presentation, Christopher Judge was way way waaaaaay hyper and off the wall! So yeah, the descriptor "normal" must always be put in quotation marks!

Creation will be co-presenting MGM's first official SG con April 15-17 in Vancouver, B.C. http://www.creationent.com/cal/sgvan.htm I normally only work the ones in the Southwest US (though I did work two in London). If any of you ever plan to attend a Creation event, PM ME!! I can't make promises to hook you up, but sometimes I can work stuff out. I heard that Gatecon, also held in Canada, is pretty good too.

Yay for SG fans!

didn't they just have their 200th episode or something? (I don't watch on TV, but I want to watch the DVDs, I like to start at the beginning)
But I saw on SciFi that they were celebrating something!
