Angry

It seems that everyone is assuming she is trying to include some "secret" members only stuff in the ceremony. Maybe she worded it wrong. I don't think it is fair to jump on her like that. Some people write things before they can think of the proper word they want to use. Maybe this is what she did. At least, I hope that is what has happened here.

You are totally out of your lane right now.

Who are you, by the way?

What? Are you jumping on me now? I just stated my opinion. Why do I have to be "totally out of my lane right now?" You don't even know me. And I don't know you. True, I may have gotten in late on this, but I have read all the replies to this young lady and I think people just jumped on her. As I said, she may have just worded her question wrong? Do you always think before you speak? We all say things without thinking it through sometimes. We are all human and make mistakes. That is all I am basically saying. By the way, my name is Larinda. Is that all you wanted to know? Forgive my tone, but I sensed a tone in your reply to my post. It is as if I had no business putting my nose where it did not belong.

It isn't that (your last sentence.) It is that this thread died a while ago and the original poster hasn't been back. So you coming on here jumping on those of us who responded was uncalled for. Are you nfinit by any chance?

ETA: In addition you posted as a SF on a particular org's board. Yet some members of that org were among the posters that you generally chastized. Do you think that was wise?

And most of us in this thread are partially familiar with one another via the net and some real life.

So resurrecting this thread in the manner you did by jumpin on folks is like pullin your car into traffic without looking both ways.

Which is why you were out of your lane.

Right, which is why she missed the fact that we were joking because no Kappas came on to answer the original question. She doesn't know these D9 boards, yet, thus does she know that we visit each other's board, get along, and tease each other. But if someone not in our orgs comes on here and denigrates any of us we will defend each other.

Thumbs up

That was so funny, I have to think before I respond. Since I usually try to "think" before I "speak"> Ha! Ha!

This chick is an educator in Maryland, huh???

Is that an insult? "This chick is an educator in Maryland?" WTF??!!! It is so very easy to insult people on the internet, isn't it? Yes, I am an educator. I work with the HIV/AIDS population. I also speak to young people. Anything else? It does not look good when you insult people like that. How would you like it if someone called into question what you did for a living? I don't think you would like it one bit. Would you? Think about that!:
