Auburn is Sugar Bowl bound!!

Not the bowl we were hoping for, but the BCS isn't flawless, and it shows

I couldnt be happier for my hokies.. ACC Champs..

.. now I just have to convince my boss to let me have off for those days..

this is one of those questions you just learn the answer to bc you are asked so many times, and so many times people arent correct..

well.. the official definition of a hokie: is a loyal virginia tech fan..

but the word came from a cheer way back when the school changed its name.. and it just kind of stuck..

the mascot was the gobblers.. but then evolved into the hokie bird.. so basically its just a made up name..

purdue's going to the sun bowl...again, third time in four years. they'll play arizona state.
utep's going to the houston bowl. yeah for them. they'll play colorado. for utep, it's a feat. they had only won two games last year.
