Epilstop!! Girrl yes... that is some nastiness right there. I can't believe he would showcase that sweater-back on TV.

Any Kool-Aid commercial

That stupid Pootey Tang Commercial :0

Any commercial featuring lawyers-for-hire

Those poorly shot, low-budget Weight loss ads

There's a place called Gallery Furniture in Houston, and the owner "Matress Mac" has had the same gimmick for years and years, he says "Gallery Furniture will save you money" and then he jumps...til this day he does this, but now he's really old, every time I see those commercials I'm afraid he'll break his hip from all that jumping.

Any used car commerical, where the salesman tells you how far he'll go to sell you a car.

OH yeah, and that commercial that goes...

"Have you ever had that not so fresh feeling?"

I forget the product they were selling, but it always managed to come on when I was in the room with a male!

Thumbs down

Out here in Cali, they show this commercial for a jewelry store called The Diamond Center-now this man has had this same commercial playing since the late 80's and he is too cheap to make another one.
He took the song "Soul Man', and changed it to "Credit Man" to get people to apply for his store's credit card-HOW TACKY!

They had a commercial in ATL a while back for some company that would turn your phone back on if Bell South shut it off. They had this straight up stereotypical black woman in the ad. I hated that ad. She would be like, "It wasn't my fault it was my cousin"(You have to see it to understand.) It also had the typical headbob and all of that nonsense.

I don't like the Lawyer ads either. I especially don't like when the lawyers have Hip-hop or R&B playing in the ad like we're supposed to believe that he listens to that. C'mon now. Then you actually go into the office and there is not ONE minority person working there.

Tell me about it! Out here in Oakland, CA they have a channel called SoulBeat- the only black owned channel in the Bay Area. Their commercials are so tacky and stereotypical, it just makes me shake my head ... Especially those "clean up your credit" commercials and those about getting a car or a loan when you have bad credit-talk about being embarrassed for the person that actually acted in the commercial! They couldn't pay me enough

Oh, I got a couple of more:

There is a commercial that airs during the weekdays for a law firm (I was told they use the same commercial for different law firms around the country).

Two lawyers are talking over lunch about a claim where their client slammed into the victim from behind. Lawyer #2 says, "I'll handle it. Who's representing this 'victim'" Lawyer #1 replies "The law offices of [insert law firm]" *Lawyer #2 chokes on his sandwich as law firm name appears on bottom of screen* He then says, "Let's settle this one" I think that is kinda bad.

There is another daytime commercial with MC Hammer for this credit company. He says "You can go from 'Can't Touch This' to "Too Legit". To which I immediately reply, "You need to quit".

More later

Or the one where that girl's car gets stuck in b/t two cars, so she gets those guys to come and lift it out! Could that happen?? It was a beetle! I don't know, but they really are reaching w/ those.

Theres a food store called Moo and Oink. They mostle sell meat products but you can get other foods there as well. In the commercial they have their employees dressed up like cows and pigs. Its ridiculous.

There is also a restaurent called Harolds Chicken. The food is really good but you wouldn't think it by watching the commercial. The commercials are low budget and ghetto. Well maybe I shouldn't expect so much considering the restaurants are equally as ghetto as the commercial.

Representing for the bad Chicago commercials!!! LOL

But I've never seen a commercial for Harold's

Also has anyone seen that new 1800-Collect Commercial with DL Hughley...where its raining and the 2 black women have just come out of the salon? It makes the two women look stereotypical and has no point to do with callling collect.

YOU KNOW WHAT BUGS ME the MOST about those 1-800 COLLECT commercials. . .
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE REALLY OUT OF A QUARTER???

Most days people either have a cell phone or a calling card. If it is a local call, it is easy EASY EASY to bum a quarter off of someone.

Only time I did collect calls was in college.

Okay that is my rant for now about those stupid commercials.

No it's not : Have you noticed that most of the celebrities for the Collect call commercials are WSAHED UP ACTORS: Arsenio, Mr. T, Alyssa Milano. All they need now are Todd Bridges, Gary Coleman, Roseanne, etc. LOL

My all time worst commercials are the ones done locally. There is a place that files tax returns and the name is...are you ready? Mo Money Taxes.....and their theme song is, I got the hookup holla if you hear me.
Picture this:
A girl pulls up in the beauty shop in an old car while Good Times theme song is playing in the background. Good Times as in JJ, Florida Evans yall....anyway... She walks in the beauty shop complaining about not having any money and her car needs repairing. One of the customers tells her to go to Mo Money Taxes. The next day after filing the taxes she is now riding a Lexus. At the end of the commerical, a white dude says: Mo money taxes, it's on like a pot of neck bones then he says ughhhhh like Master P. Can we say ghetto to the tenth power? I wonder who was the mastermind behind that trash?
