A little help for the group ...

2.The song that goes, "We don't have to take our clothes off...to have a good time. Uh-Uh. We can dance and party all night. And drink some cherry wine. Ah-hah"
That would be Jermaine Stewart ...

Quote:
"the cars that go boom"?
That would be L'Trimm

One of our local stations showed 'Krush Groove" yesterday afternoon. You know, Russell Simmons, Run DMC, Kurtis Blow, Sheila E, Fat Boys, etc. Ahhhhh, memories!

I had the smurfs card game! I loved those cards. I think my cousins stole them before the moved down south though.

I also loved the Woody Woodpecker show. Of course that's not what I called it. I always asked my mom for a butter sandwich (never said peanut butter although that's what I wanted...of course mom knew that )so I could watch the "Woody Pecker Show."

And that song that went "Sign your name across my heart, I want you to be my baby..." Anybody know?

Of course I miss the fashions of the day - wearing my shorts rolled up to Lord knows where, layering socks in different colors, pulling the bottom of your shirt to one side and putting one of those clips on it.... MAN. Oh.. and remember hair knockers? those black elastic things with the balls on each end? I had them in every color.

I remember Another Bad Creation...didn't they sing "Aisha" and "Jealous Girl" Why do I all of a sudden feel old? I think I was in the third or fourth grade when those songs were on.

My favorite group and I am still looking for their greatest hits album:

Hi- Five "Can't Wait Another Minute"

I love to hear any real old school songs.

I am only 21 and I jam off of Johnnie Taylor and any "Smooth Grooves" album

Speaking of Chubb Rock ...

Does anyone remember his video "Just the Two of Us?" (This is the one that had a bunch of Omegas stepping at a picnic.)

I used to LOVE that video because EVERYBODYwho is Greek has been to at least ONE PICNIC in their lives where Ques were "out" exactly like in that video!

Everytime I saw the video, I would crack up laughing in rememberance of some of my Omega-buddies who used to roll like that!

ok, Chubb Rock was the JAM!! Back in the day (1991-92 school year) the greeks on SSC's yard (we were a college then) would ALL be out on the yard chillin from 11-1 (lunch time). the Ques & Sigmas would be grillin, the Alphas would chill (of course) and the Kappas would twirl & the Sororities would chant (competing back & forth)& party walk. The theme song for the whole 2 hours was Just the two of us & Tream 'Em Right. Oh the MEMORIES!!
