Why can't we just let people vote the way they feel they need to. And why isn't this in chit-chat?

he's a member of some IFC GLO but rarely seems to say anything with substance...my 2c

AMEN to that!!!!

to slickwilly95991: Yeah, I guess I'm not much of a Greek then. At least I know that I want a planet in 20 years and the right to choose. And if you can't get past the whole "flip-flop" comment that the Bush/Cheney campaign kept putting out about Kerry, then I suggest you research Bush again.

Have a nice day.

Bush is right for greeks and also the Military.
So apparently you don't read or watch the news because as far as I could tell, you know from the ACTUAL reading and watching that I do, the military's funding keeps being cut- lower pay, not enough protection. Maybe you should revise your comment to say "Bush is right for me as a Greek" because he sure as hell isn't right for me.

*steps off soap box*

I didn't realize Bush's foreign policy had an effect on us as greeks. I know his economic policy isn't helping members pay dues or afford to be able to donate to our foundations.

Hopefully this thread will be moved once a chit chat mod gets on

What is his "economic policy" and how is it not "helping members pay dues or afford to be able to donate to our foundations"?

I thought only American citizens can vote.
If you are real Greek, then vote for your own president in Greece!

Actually, recruitment at my university has changed dramatically with the economic turn down. A lot of middle class kids can't afford the extra $$ to join a group. (NC has been hit hard and is turning into a service industry economy)

Money is tighter now. If I was going to college this year, I would feel really bad about asking my dad for the money. We also had al ot of girls have to leave chapter because of parents losing jobs or lack of discretionary funds for their use.
