Yesterday, I don't know if someone fell asleep at the TV station switch or what, but I saw the very same Kerry ad FOUR TIMES in a row. I mean, I can handle four DIFFERENT ads, but hearing the same thing over and over and over and over made me want to hurt someone!

Honeychile: Delaware County is close enough for me. Yes, you're right that Rendell has to bring it home for the Democrats. Heck, he and other celebs (i.e. Valerie Harper) went stumping for the Dems in Lock Haven (where I went to college.) That part of the state is VERY rural and conservative.

You and the other stellar 'burgh Greek Chatters ROCK!

DolphinChicaDDD: All the political ads are driving me insane. You can't turn on the tv without seeing an ad from either: a) a local candidate or b) from the national candidates.

I hadn't heard that but good to know.
I think the reason they might be calling my cell is because when I switched my voter registration from Broward County to Orange County a few months ago, I did it through the MTV website. I think they may have asked for a phone number but I can't remember.
But, seriously, I've been getting at least one call a day on my cell from some celebrity telling me to vote or some other random person. They usually block their number so I'm hesitant to answer when I see "unknown" show up on my cell except that my parents call me via calling card so their number also shows up blocked. Sigh....
After Tuesday, I will no longer have to deal with this.

I live in a swing state. I love it. I love knowing that people in my state are intelligent enough to not blindly follow one party or the other, and I love that Wisconsin matters to the nation.

I think you're right. It would make sense that MTV would collect numbers-- many of their 18+ audience are members of the cell-phone-only crowd-- and then have P. Diddy and Spike Lee on recorded messages.

PS: Wisconsin is also a swing state, and I'm sick of the hype-- and the junk mail I keep getting from W. I haven't gotten anything Kerry, but my neighbors keep dumping W literature into our mailbox. And how the hell did the RNC get my address, anyway?

We've gotten tons of W literature too - it's ridiculous. Did you know that John Kerry wants to close down schools? We keep getting crap from "All Children First," some fools in Michigan.
