I don't know why they call the little candy bars "fun" size. Fun size to me is king size.

Anyway at my grandma's I gave out Reese cups, Snickers and Milky Ways.

I think parents tend to steer clear of my neighborhood. I live in a neighborhood that's all college kids, so 1) we have no money for candy, and 2) our yards are full of beer cans and broken glass.

I saw so many cute little children in costumes outside, but no one came to the door. There was perfect weather (warm and sunny) for trick or treating.

anyone else notice that the smaller size candy bars tend to taste exceptionally good?

I saw a comedian this weekend, and part of his routine was this:

"Why are the little candy bars called fun size? Shouldn't the bigger ones be more fun? I wonder if I could use that in my love life...'Hey ladies, it's fun sized!'"

I had one parent who had a trick or treat bag along with her child's. Sadly, she didn't look any older than some of the other teens who showed up.

I was in the pizza place yesterday and they were giving out candy which was pretty nice. But I don't like the older kids, maybe 12yrs +, 'trick or treating' in jeans and black t-shirts. Come on wear a costume!

two large batches of trick or treaters from mexico. some tried to come back a second time. i told them "nope." but no kids from the actual apartment complex. so i have left over candy. mine was a mixture.

I like it here. But it's not a kid-friendly environment.
