i know this is an old thread, but i just finished watching 2 of my most favorite episodes of a different world and just wanted to share :

1. THE BOLD, THE BRAVE, THE FEW OF KAPPA LAMBDA NU!!! i love the episode where ron is pledging terrance (lil brother no play)and the rest of them boys and kim, gina and those other girls are pledging alpha delta rho under whitley! that episode is HIGHlarious!! that "knock down the door" is a classic

2. when that SEXY tupac (may he r.i.p. ) was on as lena's old boyfriend. he looked so cute. that man was a natural born actor!

i tape that show 3 times a day. when i went to school, i was really hoping that my experience would be like the ones on dw, but, alas, they were/are no where near those. dorm life is not that crunk (too many people sneakin and creepin ). and, they all hung tight throughout their time in school. most of the friends i had when i first started are GONE!! . none of my professors were that cool. the dean never hangs around with students. it's all so different!!

I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind

I am so glad Nickelodeon bought back:
Diff'rent Strokes
Facts of Life
Silver Spoons
Alf

I wish someone would do a marathon of GOOD TIMES on TV LAND or something.

girl diff'rent strokes comes on Nick at Nite at about 9 pm during the week.... So does the Facts of Life. Time may be different where you are though! My favorite was ALF and I almost had a stroke when I saw the reruns on Nick.

Oh Schnap!! Silver Spoons!

Wasn't Alfonso cute, before we realized he wasn't gonna grow any taller?

I loved Flex and Doug, but "South Central" was kinda just okay to me.
