flu shots

I want one but i dont mind not getting it ... i rather pass it along to my son and have him get one but his own dr is saying he is healthy so he doesnt need one because of his age....NOW that makes me want to SCREAM!

I'm one of those who has a chronic condition (according to the doctors.....asthma) who DOESN'T get the flu shot....ever

Every time in the past that I've gotten the flu shot, I've been sicker than a dog with the flu....where I'd come down with the flu at least three times during each season. In the times when I haven't gotten the shot, I haven't had ANY problems with the flu.

So there's one more shot (actually, two...my mom's the same way) out there up for grabs!

I have asthma, so when I do get the flu, it's very not fun. I've only ever had a flu shot once, and that was last year when I was teaching elementary school. I figured that I'd rather be safe than sorry, working in a human petrie dish. So I got the flu shot... and then a few days later I got the flu. And it turned into pneumonia. And then I had a reaction to the antibiotics. Not fun.

I'm just going to take my chances this year. So there's another up for grabs.

I was planning on getting one before the whole shortage thing came about because I'll be flying to London in Feb. and we all know how planes are germ incubators, but now I can't say that I mind not being able to. I've never had one before, and I've only had the flu once in my life... and that was 7 years ago. If I get it this time... oh well, I'll survive. As long as I don't get it while I'm in London, I can handle it.
