DZ's new colony is bittersweet for me because I know that Sigma Kappa just recently closed a chapter there. I think they didn't have the best of reputations though, so maybe waiting for while would be in our best interest!

Our chapter at Arizona State University has been resolved as of last month. Despite heroic efforts on the part of the collegians, alumnae, and our Volunteer Services Team and the assistance, support and cooperation of the Panhellenic Council, we were unable to increase our numbers enough to be a viable chapter.

Dee

ETA: I know this was a very difficult decision on the part of our International Council because half of them were there to assist with recruitment and from discussions I had with them, they were really attached to the members of the chapter.

Unhappy

We closed LXA Chapter there, I think 3 years after the situation.

Didnt follow that one at all!

Are there certain Colleges that seems to happen to like Cal. Chico?

They came on three months ago, became a chapter already and closed? Isn't that really quick?

I think you might be confused, AGD has been at ASU for quite some time now. They have been struggling with their numbers since I transferred to ASU in 2000. Lovely group of women!!!!!! I am so sad to see the chapter close.

I was also sad to see Sigma Kappa close.

Maybe in the future those two chapters can recolonize.
