What kind of people support Kerry?
The father of this little girl just called in to the Glenn Beck show. This is quite sad...
http://www.glennbeck.com/picoftheday/09-17-04-pod.jpg
Three-year-old Sophia Parlock cries while seated on the shoulders of her father, Phil Parlock, after having their Bush-Cheney sign torn up by Kerry-Edwards supporters on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at the Tri-State Airport in Huntington, WV.

Actually, for the record, taking small children to a place like that where there are dangerous Kerry sympathizers is irresponsible. These kids have no idea who either Bush or Kerry are. The Kerry supporter who allegedly did this is certainly not blameless, but neither are the kids' parents for taking them there.

A political rally is no place for a child, regardless of who the candidate is.

wow, this is a great thread. that poor lil girl, but true, she shouldn't have been there. i thought the same thing when i was at a bush rally in town. the kids just got in the way of the crazy mob. but at our rally there were not kerry supporters anywhere near the rest of the crowd. very deliberately.
i'm loving mrblonde's comment and i totally agree with krazy. those are great a comments. if i knew how to do a signature i would totally put both of them in my sig.

Amen. Neither is a pro-choice/pro-life rally, or ANY kind of rally unless it involves Sesame Street characters.
The guy who tore up the sign is an a-hole, but the guy who brought a small child to a situation where he knew there would be tension and possible fighting is a bigger a-hole.

I have it on no good authority that Rudey still has 14 paisley ties, 4 paisley shirts and one paisley sport coat.
(He says they mix and match really well)

Paisley is actually very in right now. (although I'm not saying I like that guy's tie)

Rudey uses all of my old hand-me-downs.
(But I didn't wear them together)

I was thinking the same thing. I like paisley. Why did paisley ever go away?
That little girl is so sad. Her dad is a total douffus for taking her to a rally and carrying a sign for the opposition.
