This from http://www.miss-arizona.org/missaz/ leads me to believe Miss Arizona is a Chi Omega.

Can anyone confirm?

I would assume you are right about Miss Arizona being a Chi Omega. It would seem only logical that a Chi-O would get a Chi-O scholarship.

So I guess we can put down Miss Arizona: Chi Omega

Woo hoo so many Greeks to root for. YEAH!!!!!!!

That's kind of what I figured, but you never know, ya know?

If I recall correctly, Stacey Lee is Miss Michigan USA, so she will not be completing in Miss America, but Miss USA instead.

And WenD you KNOW I will be pulling for our Spelman Sister!!

ETA: Yep, Stacey has already competed in the Miss USA pagent. Here is the link to the thread from the DST page discussing her win last year

Man, she would have graduated ASU around the same time as me. I think she might be a Theta or a Kappa?
You might be remembering last year's Miss Arizona/USA, Danielle Demski, who is a Theta from ASU. I think she graduated in Dec 2002.

thetalady,
no I was thinking of the current Miss Arizona (for Miss America) because she looked familiar in the first place from the years I spent at ASU. I just couldn't remember which chapter she was a part of.

Actually, I'm sure that she is a Pi Beta Phi... she was the baton girl for UCLA and I remember her from rush. She has competed for Miss California for quite a while now; she came around the row a couple years back to get girls to try out for Miss Los Angeles County when she was the reigning one two years ago.

TriDeltaGal is correct, Veena Goel is a member of Pi Beta Phi. She was initiated into the California Delta Chapter of University of California — Los Angeles in 1999.

Regarding Miss CA, I am positive that I read that she is an AKA. However, to be sure, I'll check up the website again & add the link when I find it. If not, them I do apologize.
However, neither organization is a bad one so wherever she belongs, it's awesome!

CASIGKAP, please do, I am interested...

She is listed on the sister only site of Pi Beta Phi as a 1999 initate of CA Delta, which is our UCLA chapter... Also, the hometown listed, matches the one listed on the Miss America website.
