116 are in my alumni chapter.

How can it be possible to have an average chapter size of 100? Am I underestimating the number of HUGE chapters out there? I would have thought that there are way more medium-sized Greek systems than that. But maybe DG is just at ALL of the bigger schools and not as many of the smaller ones? I remember from Stats class that just a few really large numbers can totally skew a statistic. A better judge of "average" is the median.

Well when you take into account that most of our small chapter have 50-60 women in them and our biggest chapter has over 200.....there are many in the middle that boast 100+. It all works out in the end...

Over 170 collegiate chapters (I *think* we're at 174?)
Over 230 active alumnae chapters
