Cosign!
Alpha Kappa Alpha – I really like the Ivy Reading AKAdemy and how awesome is the Young Authors program! I plan to purchase "The Spirit Within: Voices of Young Authors". These are just the types of programs to help a child begin and then realize their dreams! Lots of cousins are pretty girls who wear the 20 pearls.
Delta Sigma Theta, No One Greater! – I gave my cousin, who is more like my sister, a license plate with that phrase on it. It took her damn near 15 years but she finally put it on her car. She is just weird about having anything on her car. Crimson/Cardinal is the most perfect color on the planet! Achieving Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council is a huge accomplishment! The HIV/AIDS Education Campaign is very important work. The Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy is a terrific program.
Sigma Gamma Rho - I have never had the pleasure of meeting one in person. All of their national programming seems outstanding. From Project Reassurance to Program for Africa, these programs truly have the ability to change lives. I like the idea of their affiliates programs.
Zeta Phi Beta – I only have one cousin who is a Zeta. She said that she had to break the monotony of all that red/white and pink/green with some blue. A Tri Delta has now joined her so she doesn’t feel quite so lonely anymore.

The Z-HOPE: Zetas Helping Other People Excel ™ program pretty much explains it all. I also like that the whole family can participate in Zeta life through the auxiliary programs.
Another thing that I like about these groups is their cotillion and/or beautillion program. (This just maybe a Southern thing. I don’t know.) I like the fact that these programs take place in the junior or senior year of high school. Yes, etiquette is important but I LOVE that other areas are stressed to like job interviewing and resume writing skills.
Great work ladies!
