What LXAAlum?
You dont like to see my name in Lights!
If Betsy had posted my missive then there would be many Brothers across G C land in it!
I am not sure, but I am going back and reread again tonight. There was something that did not set right to me.
I can understand cost cutting by the tons, but, I did send out an Email To My Chapter that everyone needs to update their new mailng address and email address.
I suggest that all do the same to any and All Brothers of Your Zeta.
Brother Cooper, I would pitch a full blown Bitch about it. Check also with The Other Brothers in Canada and see if the same problem.
Last I heard, We were not at War With Canada, is there something I am missing?
Lifesaver, I would bring this up at GA since you will be there.
Hard for me to say to much to IHQ as I was told one time, oh Yes, I know Who You Are. Via our Outgoing EX Sec. Felt like I stepped on My Weanie!

Just tried to register to get future copies of the C&C, but it seems that Alfred University never existed (at least not on their drop down box ) I guess we didn't really matter to much when we were around either , oh well. Hopefully they will take the registration by e-mail instead.

KSZ1352, Go to LXA Web Site and call them.!!!!!!
You as an Inititated Brother and an Alum should be getting C & C!
I would also if you have an email listing of Alfred Brothers get them to do the same.
Beleive me, you are not forgotten By Brothers on GC and others.
Do you have a Alum Assoc.? If not get one started.
Check with Jono, as there is one for BN, Fl. Int. Tech. and they keep in touch that way.
I am the keeper of the email of LX Z so we can keep in touch.
Only have @ 1/3 of the Alums though!
Beleive me, All of the Brothers on GC thought you got a raw deal!
If you noticed Brother Cooper from Canada and His Active Chapter are not getting C & C, I suggest the same thing!

I just sent them an email with my info, hopefully I get added to the list.
As for an alumni association... we kinda have one.. Since you are such the lambda historian, you may know that my chapter was shut down for several years. There was an alumni association that was run by the older alumni who helped us a lot for the first few years; but they decided not to associate themselves with the restarted chapter due to differences in opinion on how things should be run.
Since shutting down, my group keeps in touch with each other, but don't feel the need for a full alumni association since there will most likely never be another chapter in Alfred.
I think we all know that we are always brothers.. no matter how screwed over we got by our school and everyone else involved. In the end, I guess that's all that really matters.

Brother Oren,
Suggest you keep the current Alums active in a Alum Chapter and notify IHQ as such.
Never say never about the ------s at Alfred.
There many changes among Schools about how they feel about Greeks and while are not reinventing the wheel, they are leaning more to the right for us!
If any Alums are near other Zetas work with them to keep in touch with goings on.
You as an Initiated Brother should be able to still participate in LXA!
Far from being a Lambda Historian, I have raised my voice on some things with IHQ. Sometimes I had a little more outward personality, but other times I wish not! I am well aware of the Alfred situation and was not happy with the outcome.
Please stay on G C so we all can keep in touch!

The Alpha at the colony I advise had to come over to my condo Monday to do his monthly colony report to email to Otten at HQ. (a chartering requirement) He doesnt have convienient intenet access over the summer, so I told him he could use my computer. Anyway he was looking at my C&C and tells me, "I really like the C&C and want to start getting it, but cant afford the subscription." lol. He was really excited to find out he already paid for it with his initation fee.
Reminded me that theres so many things most members know becasue they learn it from actives. When youre a colony you dont have actives before you to explain things. Another funny example is after Impact here in March, the Alumni Association sponsored a 3 way flag football tournament and BBQ for the two chapters and colony here in San Antonio. I was giving the colony the coaches pep talk and ended it with "OK, Choppers on 3. One, two, three... Choppers" One of them then asks me "Whats a Chopper?" lol. They're good guys tho.

Oren,
I just took a look at the sign-up form on lambdachi.org for the C&C and I see what you mean. It seems all the inactive chapters are missing (ie; Rutgers, Franklin & Marshall, etc.). I think they used a list of active chapters rather than a list of all chapters.
Hopefully, this was just a clerical error.
In ZAX,
Jono
