Well, Soror better go out and buy some paper/plastic cups from the dollar store, for those non-Sorors.

I've seen quite a few Sorors in NYC wear those AKA Max sneakers (whatever they're called, lol), they are pretty popular out here. I saw one Soror at Leadership wear them with an AKA T-shirt and an AKA cap with an AKA pin on it. Something only an older Soror can do.

OK, GUILTY AGAIN!!!!
However, the name I came up with has A.K.A. as the initials "Alexis Katrice Anderson". And the first girl I have, that WILL be her name. I have always liked "A" names. My son is Aaron, and he would have been my Alexis had he been a girl. And I am lucky enough to be marrying an "Anderson" and my middle name is DeTrice (which I hate). But "Katrice" sounds so much better .

This entire topic reminds me of all of the older Sorors in my sponsoring Grad chapter The day I crossed the Grad chapter all had on AKA earings, with an AKA necklace (or 2) and an AKA watch, etc. It was like an amusement park! One younger Grad Soror took us to the side and made it a point to tell us, "ONLY 1 PIECE OF PARA AT A TIME!".
I guess after I become a Golden Soror I'll wear my golden pin on my AKA cap and wear my other pins on my AKA socks. It seems like the in thing to do.

*I have a piece of naila everyday. If not my necklace, my keychain.
*My comforter set is pink and green (I had it before I crossed )
*My kitchen is ivy, too
*I pose in the mirror with my pinky up, LMAO. I can't believe I told yall that, lol. But I know some of yall do it too. INCLUDING YOU SF'S
But, um, Beauty, you gon' hafta go snatch Soror Elite up, and get them beads OUT of her hair, lol!!! LOL LOL

Thats funny. Actually my real name which I'm not going to post here on greekchat. Is a combination of my moms first name( who is a soror) and the letters AKA. So my name is **A-K-A, I'm glad it worked out in the end!
You should of seen when I went to rush and they asked me to spell my name. They were like no she didn't!

Okay Sorors, don't laugh but I DID name my daughter something similar to the name(s) that you've mentioned. It was actually my mom's idea (she's also a soror). I do think that it's very precious now and it fits her to the "T" (my daughter that is). Okay this is really bad...my little sister's name is also like that spelled *-*-A-K-A! She had the same problem at rush. They asked her to spell her name and she was like, "you know; just like it sounds". Of course the response was just like the soror said before "No she didn't" Oh the agony of being a sophisticated chosen one from birth.

I'm SURE they did! LOL
Given the way the Sorors up the interstate have "acted" historically during their rush!
I can believe it!
