It's natural in any realm to perceive a person's words based on your feelings for them. Here it can be difficult because some people on here are not verbally gifted and may come across as an assh*le or a b*tch without meaning to. They don't have the added benefit of tone of voice or body language. Some on here probably are those things, but I'd be willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt, unless they consistently push buttons (especially mine).

I think it is just human nature to feel that way. You have to try and make an effort to be open-minded and hear the message rather than concentrate on the messenger.
I'm not always real good at doing that, I will admit.
