You're right-- the fraternity alumni show more support-- that was what I stated in my post, too. The majority (not everyone, obviously, and certainly not the alum posting on GC) of sorority women are "done" come graduation when it comes to sorority life.

I think things will slowly change. Guys show more support because they have more money than women. As the wage gap gets closer, more women'll be able to help.

I've always perceived sorority alumnae as being more supportive of their chapters. It seems more likely that a sorority chapter will have a full team of alumni advisors, than a fraternity chapter will have even a single advisor.

It could be that "the grass is always greener on the other side." We don't see each other's weaknesses, only each other's strengths.
