Hey girls! I'm a rising senior at Elon, and I am VERY excited about Tri-Delta coming to campus! I'm seriously considering joining Tri-Delta in the fall, and helping the organization out as much as possible. I know several girls who are also considering it, and I can definitely say that it will be a fine organization on our campus. Thank you for all of your support!

Another new chapter! Epsilon Epsilon will open this fall at Cal Poly SLO. 5 new chapters!

5 colonies!!! that is awesome!!!

No wonder EO is going NUTS about the pins they lent us. We got lent 50 badges, 50 tridents, and 50 new member pins. Turns out there was a miscommunication between the outgoing VP/A and the incoming, and each thought the other had sent it out. We(or should I say, my collegic chapter **sniff sniff** got a very frantic letter from EO saying they needed the ritual jewlery ASAP.

ETA: look at evil sister TriDeltaGal with 666 posts!!!

Sorry for crashing your board again. After much thought and prayer, I have decided to join Tri-Delta at Elon! Megan Shaw, the FC for Elon, sent me an email last night, and she will be at Elon's organization fair on September 3rd. I don't know what the colonization schedule is or what the process is, but I will let you guys know as soon as a find out. Thanks!!!

No set schedule as of yet, but there will be a major Tri-Delta event once a week in September. Bids will be passed out by October 8th, and installation will be November 19-20.

This is so cool, I'm really glad that Tri-Delta is coming to Elon

Good luck at the org fair! I know everyone on campus is excited about Tri-Delta's colonization. Ours was very successful three years ago, and I know that this chapter will flourish at Elon

Hi ladies!

I've swung by the Tri Delta table at Elon, and picked up some information. Here is the recruitment schedule for the Elon colony:

September 8th- Informational Session
September 18th- Family Weekend Meet and Greet
September 20th- Philanthropy Event
September 28th- Ice Cream Social
October 5th-7th- Consultation Meetings

The sisters from Wake Forest were really nice and extremely helpful. I've talked to a few of them, and they are very proud to be Tri Deltas. The field consultant is also doing an awesome job sending information out to interested people.

Tomorrow is the info session, and I'll let everyone know how it goes!

The info session went very well. Only the field consultant and the alumnae advisor were there (Wake Forest couldn't make it due to Hurricane Frances). They explained what Tri Delta is all about, and how Elon selected them to colonize this fall. They also gave us a little bit of info on St. Jude, what qualities they looked for in founders, and some local stats (over 3,000 Tri Delta alumnae are in NC

). There were probably 50 or so girls there, and the max for a colony is 90. I'm pretty sure more will come to the other recruitment events. Freshmen can not rush at Elon until January, so they are only looking for sophomores, juniors, and seniors to be founders.

The next recruitment event is next Saturday which is Family weekend. This will be neat because it gives our families the opportunity to learn more about Tri Delta. It's awesome that Tri Delta wants our families to be educated about their organization, because they seem to want families involved in the process as well. I'll keep you guys posted

Recruitment is going great so far. I have a recruitment thread here if you want to check it out. Next week is an ice cream social, and two weeks from today is my interview. Two weeks from tomorrow is bid day! I can't wait
