YOU DID NOT OVER React

I remember when I was an active....I would not even let my EX-girlfriend (6yrs.) at the time wear my shirts with the letters on it. For the months following my initiation into the fraternity I would not even throw my shirts with the letters in the wash/dryer with other cloths that weren't Phi Tau. I was very weird when it came to my letter's.

*Now a days I will wash my shirts w/letters with other cloths.

I do not think you over reacted. First and foremost...if you did not work to earn these letters, you do not need to even touch these letters. Well I take that back...you can pass me my jacket...but don't hold on to it too long LOL.

Secondly...if I come to your house...I don't care if it's a dirty towel, a sock, a bathrobe, a piece of paper, common sense tells you not to sit there or to move it before you sit there.

Thirdly...you just don't do that. My roommate is in DST and PBL...I dont even drink out of her cups with her letters on it. I don't care if that is the last clean cup in the house and we don't have any more dish detergent to wash another glass...I will go thirsty before I put my lips on some one else's letters... Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhew I feel like I vented...

My jacket goes on a hanger in the closet when not in use.

Problem solved.

I have a story to share along the lines of this.
We were having a bake sale out in the common area outside the student union and I had taken my visor off. This visor has embroidered letters on the right hand side. Some friends come up and buy some baked goods, then just hang out. One of the guys decided to try on my visor. I looked over to him and said, "Why are you wearing my visor with my letters on it?" He responds, "Cause it was there." Me, "You need to take that off, please and thank you." The most amusing thing was that he's in a fraternity but apparently didn't realize my letters were on the visor. I realized that I was a bit curt with him then apologized about it but kept my stance that those are MY letters and he didn't need to be wearing them.
