You need to have the Delta Sigmas come over to decorate your nursery in red, buff, and green!

I bet that she will be surrounded by LOTS of stuffed squirrels!

Congratulations, Mai Ly!

Talking She's here!

Just got the confirmation, sisters!

The lovely baby girl MaiLy and her husband so lovingly chose to adopt entered the world this morning!

Arwen Makanaokalani was born at 2:51 AM this morning (April 9). She weighed 6 lbs, 14 oz and was 19 inches long. "Makanaokalani" is the Hawaiian name for "gift from heaven".

Mom gets to take our newest legacy home tomorrow and I can't wait until she gets on here to let us in on all the details so far!

Yesterday was my last day of work at Hawaiian Airlines. Two weeks ago I decided that I wanted to devote more time to raising my new daughter, who is just growing too fast!!!!! She's already 5 months old, and she is just doing so much fun stuff... I can't stand to miss a minute of it.

So here I am...now a stay at home Mom! It's kind of freaky for me... I've always had a job (a paying one.) But I'm really happy with my decision.

Of course, I'm already teaching her all about red, buff, green, squirrels, and pearls

In fact... I took her with me to Delta Sigma's Bid Day celebration this last weekend... and since all of the girls had brand new AGD shirts to wear... I just had to make Arwen one to match!

Want to see?

Our Little Legacy

We made her buddy Lauren one to match

Hoooooly crap, SHE'S SO BIG NOW!

I remember her at Panhellenic Luncheon and she was just a newborn! It's no surprise that she and Lauren (why do I have a feeling they'll grow up joined at the hip?) were matching? FYI -- Lauren is the legacy of our sister Jenny, from Sigma Chapter, current VPS Advisor.

Applauses on the ears pierced! That's when I got mine too!!!

Mai, if they have openings at Hawaiian lemme know....I've already put resumes and apps in for American, United, and Continental.

See you Saturday!

How do you say her name? Is it like Erin, Arin, Arron, Aron? If I sould it out my why... Southern with a little of the Yankee in me... it seems like it would be Arwen with just a little bit of "we" in it...
