awwww i'm so sorry that you guys are sad right now... but yes i definately know what you are talking about... actually i've battled depression my entire life and i'm on antidepressant/ anti-anxiety medication now (im not saying that you guys are depressed) but i've always suffered from the affliction that everyone else always has it better than i do.. the grass is always greener on the other side type of thing... the best way to deal with these thoughts is to focus on waht is going good- even if its really stupid... like the store you went to had your favorite candy bar or there is a fun show on tv... its little things that help deal with the bad... my grandfather passed away suddenly about two months ago and it was really devastating.. and out of that i am starting to realize what i have in my life.. and trying to be grateful for it. since being in london too i have realized that i took everything for granted at home.... now i know that i can't do that anymore ... also- i have to realize that i am in one of the greatest cities in the world.... and i need to take advantage of it rather than hating it as much as i have.... sometimes in life there are periods we must go through in order to evolve and change to our surroundings... sometimes things are great- sometimes they aren't... but everything makes you stronger.... just try not to let it break your spirit and hopefully good things will come out of bad times i'm sorry for your loss rainbow.... if anyone wants to talk about the things that are happening.... or if they have questions about depression or anxiety- please feel free to pm me....

Yes, life right now is kind of sucky. Why? Here's a list:
1. I was told I was at an immature age because people my age don't realize there's other political opinions out there besides my own. BTW, I am 23 with a BA in Mass Media and Political Science and very open-minded to other opinions because I feel if we combine some ideas and throw out others, people could actually get along. The person that told me this holds an Accounting/Business degree, owns her own business, and is 48 and a conservative. Like she knows politics!
2. I feel like those who drive Vans, SUVs, and Trucks as their own personal cars should drive or ride carpools most of the time, look for a more fuel efficient vehicle, or fight to make SUVs and Trucks more fuel efficient. I live in the south so that opinion doesn't go over very well. Very depressing.
3. I am a Democrat in a very southern small town and live with a very conservative father. Both will make one cross-eyed and a candidate for a straight-jacket.
4. I was told by the same person who said #1 that there couldn't be a fatter chance in hell that I'd ever be president of the USA. I told her that even though I might not win the South that the North and West think pretty much like myself and if I won 2/3 of the nation that the South could kiss my big fat butt.
5. I need to lose major weight.
6. I keep getting migraines one right after another. I can't function with them because I am either in the bed or hugging the throne.
7. My braces are permanently on my teeth, I think. I was supposed to get them off 1 year ago. I have had them 3 years.
8. I live with my parents. Enough said.

My life is awful. My bonus probably won't be 6 figures and I am just very upset about this. I was looking to buy 2 Audi Roadsters and now might be forced to only buy one.

I never thought your age made you immature. I just thought you maybe had a learning disability and felt bad for you.

HIJACK:
James,
I feel sorry for you to feel like you have to insult people's intelligence and maturity because you feel insecure about your own intelligence and maturity.

You can use one of mine on weekends as long as you fill the gas tank when you're finished.
