I have a D&B, but it's not the multicolor... I have this one:
I don't like the way the multicolor bags FEEL- they have like a waxy texture to them. Plus I see way too many high school/middle school kids carrying them around. I wouldn't get one. But I still think the concept is cute. I love the little dangling heart tag; I want to get the key chain that's like it.
One of our sisters entered a contest in a magazine to design a bag for dooney & bourke. She designed a vegas themed bag and won!! They are flying her to Milan for a week to go trade shows and design her own bag. I can't wait till they make it so I can wear one and say one of my sisters designed it.
I dont know about recently, but Dooney & Bourke was big when I was in high school. Anyone who was anyone carried a Dooney & Bourke purse. Needless to say i had a couple, one of which looked much like this one shown here. I think the new ones are cute, but look rather "young" or "high schoolish" no offense to anyone.
