Any suggestions???

Polarpi mentioned something similar in the Alpha Delta Pi forum - just think of the positive PR that wearing your pin will bring!
I'm hoping to bring my mama home from the hospital on Monday, so I'll spiff up and wear my beloved black diamond to the hospital!

Pin Not Made Anymore?
I've seen the APO pins but not in recentl years. Are they not made anymore? They used to be beautiful pins.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for it, but I think it's silly. It's an NPC day, not an everybody day.

Hey DolphinChicaDDD and AXiD670,
That Spur pin attached to the Alpha Xi Delta Quill is the badge of a sophomore recognition society for women, International Spurs (or, formerly, National Spurs). I don't know if the organization is still around, or how widespread it might currently be in numbers and locations of chapters. The spur pin is pictured in the 1991 edition of Baird's, which listed 40 chapters, with the note that they were relying on old non-updated information at that time. Most of the chapters appeared to be in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain states. It was founded in 1922 at Montana State.
Spurs was more or less a sophomore version of Mortar Board, recognizing a combination of scholarship, activities/leadership, and service.
With luck, maybe a current or former Spur on GC will see this and will be able to fill us in more.

I was about to post and then saw your message, honey! I'm actually trying to figure out what I'm going to wear tomorrow to show my badge off to it's best advantage....and as honey said, I'm also at a community college taking classes. CC's are usually filled with students who are getting their gen eds out of the way before transferring to a 4-year university, so what better way to promote Greek Life by wearing something most of them would not be familiar with, and then they come and ask you and you can explain about going Greek (and going your particular GLO in some cases! ) Go ahead and wear it, efcheerBB!!!

|
But it's not Greek unity day. It's NPC Day.
