We also get Delta G's sometimes...but mostly in our songs...

We go by D Phi E or "Deephers". I personally don't mind either one.

Preciousjeni, what you said about some girls not liking to be called ONE or whatever reminded me of how AXiD, how sometimes we're called Fuzzies. Some chapters use that exclusively, others violently hate it. I don't use it since my chapter didn't, but I don't mind when people do. I rather like using Alpha Xi instead of AXiD, but I'm just not in the habit of doing so.
Sister Havana, with the APO thing, did they want you to use AFO instead or something? PSP had a big debate over our listserv a while ago, whether we were "PSP" or "FSP". You can tell where I stand on that. Does anyone use F as an abbreviation for Phi? I think it looks silly, for some reason.

One of my sisters mentioned once that they (not really clear on who they were, she didn't say...or maybe I wasn't listening ) wanted to change our nickname to the Pi Beta's.
I didn't like that idea at all.

The only nick I know for SAI is, well, SAI. Which is fine.
Here's one though, for another org, that I H-A-T-E HATE!!!
I HATE WHEN PEOPLE REFER TO A BROTHER OF PHI MU ALPHA AS A "PHI MU"!!! Arg! They're Sinfonians, or Phi Mu Alphas. Period. No offence to Phi Mu, but my Sinfonian boys would look a little silly wearing pink and white.

My sorority is Gamma Alpha Omega and we are known here on campus and Nationally as Gammas. Since we are a Historically Hispanic Sorority we call each other Gammitas, which I've heard that some of the other sororities on campus hate to hear, because of Gamma Phi Beta.
To lady Pi Phi- It would be weird to have Pi Beta Phi on campus and hear other Greeks call your sisters Pi Beta. That just DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT AT ALL. I hope your sorority doesn't change your nickname.....It just wouldn't be RIGHT or Pi Phi

when i was at school we were the AZDs or Alpha Xis. Phi Mu was Phi Mu, Sigma Kappa were Sigma K or sigma Kappa, Alpha Omicron Pi was AOTT, Tri-Sigma was Sigma and Zeta Tau Alpha was Zeta.
All pretty simple!

Gamma Phi or GPhiB. Pretty self-explanatory. I like both of 'em.

Actually, a lot of the Sinfonias up here call themselves Phi Mus. Phi Mu for girlies doesn't really have a presence in Wi.
