I just got back from District 1 DLC today...I think it was a much needed boost of ADPi spirit! I know that I am really excited about some of the changes that are being made, especially to the Alpha Education process! Hopefully the other NMCs out there will agree once they learn about it, too

I have a story fom this weekend -- Saturday night, we went out for dinner at a restaurant in Peachtree City. While our group was waiting to be seated, a family walks in and stands behind us. The man starts talking to his mother, asking if there was a college nearby because there were lots of "college kids" at the hotel. A sister and I turned around and told him it was a sorority leadership conference, then the mother asked us what sorority it was... Come to find out, the mother is an ADPi, as well! (U of Pittsburgh? She said it was way back in the day when she was in college!)

ForeverDiamond is it in Baltimore again? I know when we went the Baltimore alumnae association did a lot of work to help plan and run the function so if District convention is near you then I'm sure they could use the help.

HB is still in D3, we're just in a different province now (Epsilon I)... we're in the same province as Pitt now instead of Penn State. (i'd do the psu sucks chant, but i don't wanna offend... ) DLC is in Baltimore, the ladies are headed down next weekend. it's all of exec plus NMC and Formal Recruitment that go. OH! and EBrady is going down with them cause her TCC interview is there. Good Luck EBRADY!!!!! i just think she would make an amazing TCC.

hi leslie! no, unfortunately i won't be at dlc... i left school last year, going through jewel degree so i'm not an active delta sister any longer, although i have returned to allegheny this semester. it's too bad, i would have loved to meet you! please keep an eye out for the sisters from eta beta have a good safe trip!

Omigod! I'm in Schaumburg, which is pretty darned close to the hotel where they're having DLC (less than 30 minutes away).
