Nope. Gretchen and B.B. made fire quickly, they used B.B.'s eyeglasses. (Thanks to Television without Pity for jogging my memory.)

Colby, hot as always. I want to see more of him!

I wish they didn't let winners on the All-stars, give the other people a chance(Jenna is so right!) I am happy that Tina was the first to go, b/c she was soo underhanded in Austraila (under a guise of innocence)

I was also sad to see Tina go because they need someone like her in any team. I liked her attitude when she first said that she wasn't in it for the money.

I'm kind of nervous to see sister Amber form an alliance so quickly with that one Rob. I guess it's hard for her to NOT make alliances wit troublemakers. I didn't watch the Survivor when he was on, but I have this gut feeling that he'll be a potential troublemaker.

I fell asleep last night at the end of the superbowl and woke up right when Survivor was over. I'll watch it from now on, though.

This season is gonna be great!
1. Why didn't Cathy use her glasses to start a fire? Even my 8 year old son knows if you put a piece of glass under direct sunlight on flammable material, it will ignite eventually. With alot less physical exertion that rubbing wood together, I might add. ETA: maybe they are plastic lenses, though...so maybe that makes a difference?

2. I think it sucks the winners are going to be picked off systematically at the beginning. If I was playing, I'd want a winner with me in the top 2, b/c what are the chances the jury will vote for the winner a second time (Ethan tried to make that point to Jenna L). BTW-Jenna L is the reason their tribe lost. Did you see her lazy arse riding on top of the raft w/the torch in her hand? That's what slowed them down. Hey Jenna-put the dang thing back in its holder & help everyone else kick.

3. My dream top 2 is Rudy & Rupert or one of them with Colby (did anyone see his Gilette commercial during the game?).

They are dragging this thing out until May! Ugh. Off to the spoiler sites...

This is going to be good...

I'm kind of indifferent as to how the voting went last night.
I was, however, annoyed that whatever team Richard is on didn't lose because I really was hoping that I wouldn't have to deal with another second of him.

dzandiloo, I was thinking the same thing about the glasses starting the fire!

I didn't think I was going to like this one but I am kind of enjoying it so far. I really don't think Rudy is going to make it very far. The previews of next weeks make it look like he is having a hard time. I do think it would be great to see him win but with all those youngsters around he may not have a chance.
i sure hope when I am 75ish I can do all the things he can.

Why am I not remembering Alicia? Was she on for very long?

I love it...Ethan tries to fish and gets nothing, then Rupert goes out for five minutes and gets a fish!

And when Colby said "I think Rich wants everyone to be naked but that's not going to happen," was I the only one disappointed? I would not mind seeing naked Colby.

Why are you always falling asleep during shows? I think this is the 100th time

I'm such a loser. I fall asleep at like 10:30 and I wake up at the crack of dawn. That's what happens when you're a grown-up, I guess.

I decided to watch Friends instead of Survivor. Who got kicked off last night?

I thought it was amazing that he's 75 years old, but was still out there doing all that stuff.
I hope I can do even half of the stuff that he does when I'm 75.

I agree... Rudy rocks. They made a stupid decision by voting him off. They should have voted off Jenna. She's waaay to whiny/schemy.
